CVS MinuteClinic Homepage Redesign
To evolve the existing perception that CVS MinuteClinic was only for flu or vaccine shots, the homepage was redesigned to emphasize the high quality of medical providers, highlight the broad spectrum of services provided and optimize the appointment scheduling experience.
I was on a team as a UX Designer where we were challenged with creating a new landing page for the CVS MinuteClinic. The existing page consisted of a lot of links but not a lot of information. We really wanted to hone in and tell the story of what MinuteClinic is and how it can be of maximum service within the community.
We started the story with Geolocating to help in scheduling we created and enticing hero with an easy to use scheduler component. Next we start to expand on the services being offered. Creating quick links that go to additional resources but really striking the curiosity of the user to further investigate. Then we wanted to give the user reason to believe CVS was the right choice. in conjunction we wanted to bring attention the the providers and there years of service again to build trust and reassure the user. Lastly we expand on insurance being accepted as that is always a big question, then the short process from scheduling to your appt., some frequently asked questions and additional resources to help inform the user.

We were challenged with created a few concepts an MVP to a Northstar with minimal limitation. I started with mapping out using existing components and creating net new when was befitting.

Conclusion
This project went from a bunch of links to take you in another direction to actual content worth the users time. It really allowed for a lot of confidence in my decision making with supporting it by data. Throughout the process I really honed in on the user and their needs and CVS was in full support. The challenge we faced was how to manipulate existing components to modernize the look and feel of the site which lead to some net new components. However in the end this page was simplified and informative for the user.
